Never Say Die

There is a reason why you are still alive today. There is a leader in you that has survived the storms and perils of life for a reason. I pray that you may find a reason in your current season. I hope that as you sway through life and say those things that are dear to you, I pray that you find and turn a new page.

There is no need to have rage in your heart. There is no need to be so full of anger and despair. Your circumstances are not beyond despair.

Look at you; young, vibrant, bold and forging ahead with your convictions.
Look at you; zealous, courageous and almost rebellious.
Look at you; zest and zing oozing out of your soul.

Have you seen you lately? Have you taken a closer look at the greater you lately? Do you realize that of the 6.5 billion people on earth, you are the center of attention?

I know. It sounds ridiculous right?

Look at it this way; say you died today 5 minutes after reading this letter. What would that be like? How would you feel? Would you still smell the roses down in the garden? Would you still feel the cool air brushing through your hair with the gentle stoke of hope? Would you taste the attitude of a cold coke down in your mouth?

Would you? I don't think so. That is why I say "Never Say Die".

There is too much at stake. You my friend are a hero. You are a mentor, a motivator, a mother, a father, a leader, a catalyst of change, a pioneer of greatness, a……must I go on?

You are all that and some. Yes you are. Indeed you are.

The world may not fully appreciate you. Do you appreciate you? Do you treat yourself as the royal person you are? Do you realize that you are the center of the world? Without you, this world would never be the same.

You are who you are for a reason. You have a season ahead of you. You do not belong in prison. You must never say die.

I dare to see you fly. I dare to see you soar above the sky into waters far and deep. Waters so deep and so blue that the world would never recognize you. I dare to see you dive to the deep end of life's opportunities. I dare you to make your heartbeat count. I dare you to live life like it had no speed limits; not because you are a careless driver, but because you were a care free responsible diver.

Be driven by your inner compass. Be propelled beyond the clouds. Go where you have never gone. Meet who you have never met. Take on the opportunities of life with grace, and indignation. Take on the enemies of life with beauty and bias. May you be resigned from negative people. May you be indifferent to those that seek to kill you.

You belong up here. You belong here where the occupants are not intimidated by you. Rather they are inspired by your presence, uniqueness and giftedness. You are so special we will spend the first day with you just admiring you.

We will salute the scars on your face. We will salute the tears in your eyes. We will honor the tenacity in your feet. We will surrender our fears to God with you. We embrace God's faith in you. We will recognize you not only for who you are but who you can be. We know you are great but we also know that you can be greater. We are so inspired we want to see you grow, prosper and never say die.

You belong here…far and above. You belong here where our tears are sweet. Where our sweat has meaning and our pain is so full of gain. You belong here where we don't moan but we groan with birth pains. You belong here where we do not abort our dreams, but we nurture and foster them. You belong here where few people ever come. Not because we are segregated, but because they are scared to grow up and rise above the ambers and rushes of mediocrity.

I must go now. Not because I am bored, but because I am energized. I must go not because I have nothing else to say, because God knows I can speak all day. I must go because there is work to do. I must go because I have refused to die therefore I choose to live.

I must go not to leave you lonely but to leave you refreshed.

We are champions and we must stand. We are champions and we belong up here.

NEVER SAY DIE.
