Wat do you mean? That is the reason why we don't develop in Zambia. You want everybody to sound like your favourite record.
Anyway. some of us are in London and we're actually just paying to see C.R.I.$.I.$. perform. You don't like it but you can't make my buying decision. I will support progressive artists like him. Good luck with your hopes of one genre of music... kwati ni-one world Government. Yaba!!! report abuse

Just thought that I'd say:
Aint it funny that people who actually didnt attend this show are the one's that talk the most. I was there and I must say, CRISIS's performance was probably the best of the night. Go CRISIS! If CRISIS was doing nothing, we wouldnt talk about him. I dont see anything wrong with a young man who has a passion to be on the Billboard charts with everybody else. Infact, his performance was a surprise to me as I expected less but, got more. I've seen other big artists from the States perform and some of them weren't as good as crisis. report abuse

I've never heard him talk about Brooklyn in his raps but, I've heard him talk about Lusaka alot. Have you actually listened to his music or are you just being YOU? And you said you were who?

Actually I think C.R.I.$.I.$ is a great rapper and an excellent performer.
I respect his professionalism, work ethic and above all his respect for other people. Just because his style is American does not necessarily make him any lesser of an artist than JK (another great artist) or any of the other Zambian artists that would rather sick to a more "Zambianistic" genre of music. Let us be happy for one another and support one another as opposed to constantly putting each other down just because some of us choose to think outside the box. report abuse

Music is aabout keeping it real and having known C.R.I.$.I.$ personally for over a decade I am quick to say he raps from the heart. There is more realism in his lyrics than there is in some of the guys who are popular in Zambia and sing in Zambian languages. When he speaks of his family situation or about his son etc - he tells it as it is... baring heart and soul. Incidentally his song "Keeping it Real" from his Officer in Charge album has been playing in my mind this past week. He is blessed with interlect and superb talent. Respec'.

The artist is the one. I have never met an artist who is so humble in Zambia and beleive me I have met them all especially with the level of talent he exhibits, he is not a fake, he is the real deal. Its sad that people with little talent(runnel) have actually managed to sip through our radio waves and they think they are mega stars with massive talent. This guy does not blow his own horn but rather just does his thing and the rest is up to you and I will tell one thing, you not be disappointed. Chisenga U\'re the Man( ba Mwine)

Crisis has great talent yes..but the problem with him and most zambian artists,he doesnt put out enough music. they guys get some fame...make a little money,do a couple of badly directed videos and get contented..they get too comfortable.
